Senior Student Fellow
Ben is a Senior Student Fellow on the Data Science team, working on modeling college enrollment trends and analyzing data related to early childhood development. Prior to joining the Sorenson team, Ben worked as an automatic transmission project manager and automotive seating design engineer in Ann Arbor, Michigan for six years. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 2012 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and coached water polo for the school after graduation, where he was named Big Ten coach of the year in 2014. Ben is passionate about basketball analytics and his dog Bo. In his free time, he likes to climb, travel, and ski. Ben is a first year MBA student, pursuing a dual Masters degree in Business Analytics at the David Eccles School of Business.
