Jack is a Student Fellow on the Policy Innovation team. He is currently researching federal policy options to unlock catalytic capital for low-income and distressed communities. He also assists with the project management of two Pay For Success projects focused on tackling the challenges of homelessness and recidivism in Salt Lake County.
Jack is a second-year student at the University of Utah studying political science with minors in economics and computer science. He also runs Jack Jowers Prep, an ACT preparation tutoring business, and leads a volunteer group that provides tutoring services to students in downtown Salt Lake City. Prior to working at the Center he interned with the Salt Lake Tribune, assisting them with their transition into a nonprofit news organization
