Janae Holland

Impact Investing

Janae is a Student Fellow on the Impact Investing team working on due diligence for Sorenson Impact Foundation investment deals. While working at the Center, Janae is also working to complete her MBA program at the University of Utah. In her spare time, Janae continues to work as the CEO and Founder of Aliim, a nonprofit that leverages technology to help refugees access quality education. She currently helps refuge youth from eastern and central Africa, now living in Salt Lake City, with supplemental education support. Janae previously attended Columbia University and graduated with her Masters in International Education Development. Prior to moving to Utah, she worked for the corporate law firm Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett in New York City, and interned at both UNESCO in New York City and the Ministry of Social Development in the Kingdom of Jordan.
