Marin Murdock

Policy Innovation

Marin is a Student Fellow on the Policy Innovation team, working on research on the future of the Higher Education System for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the execution of a Pay For Success project within Salt Lake County to address the rising homelessness issue within the community. In addition to these two projects, Marin is also serving as a co-chair for the Student Coalition for Social Impact.

Prior to joining the Sorenson team, she completed internships with the United States Treasury in Washington D.C. and a nonprofit in Fiji focused on international development work. When Marin is not working at the Sorenson Impact Center, she is working with various organizations to raise awareness for suicide prevention on college campuses and participating in Goff Scholars, an elite cohort of college students tasked with developing solutions to real-world problems. Marin recently graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in International Development and Sustainability. She is now attending law school at the University of Chicago.
