Kyrene Clarke is a Senior Associate at the Sorenson Impact Center. She works strategically with public and private partners to advance strategies for inclusive investing and measured impact. She currently manages the Center's work with JP Morgan Chase & Co. creating methods to bridge the investment gap for women and minority entrepreneurs. Additionally, she is working on the Center's partnership with Forbes, the Forbes OZ 20, an initiative to evidence and implement best practices for equitable impact using the opportunity zone legislation.
Prior to joining the Center, Kyrene managed the lending portfolio and partner outreach programs at the Utah Microloan Fund, a CDFI. Prior to the UMLF, Kyrene worked for several years at Goldman Sachs in the finance and risk division.
She holds a MA in Global Finance, Trade and Economic Integration from the University of Denver, in addition to BA's in Economics and International Studies. As a former NCAA DI swimmer, Kyrene enjoys an active lifestyle playing in the mountains and deserts of Utah.
