Kyrene (Kyra) Clarke
Kyrene Clarke current serves as a Manager at the Center. She works with public and private partners to advance strategies for inclusive investing and measured impact. She manages the Center's work with clients such as the Economic Development Administration, Sorenson Impact Foundation, JP Morgan Chase & Co., Salt Lake City Corporation, and the Walton Family Foundation, creating methods to bridge the investment gap for historically marginalized communities. Additionally, she led the Center's partnership with Forbes, the Forbes OZ 20, an initiative to evidence and implement best practices for equitable impact using the opportunity zone legislation and released a white paper series on federal polices to unlock catalytic capital.
Prior to joining the Center, Kyrene managed the lending portfolio and partner outreach programs at the Utah Microloan Fund, a local CDFI. Kyrene also spent several years at Goldman Sachs in the finance and risk division.
She holds a MA in Global Finance, Trade and Economic Integration from the University of Denver, in addition to BA's in Economics and International Studies.
