Max Seawright Ph.D.

Director

Max Seawright, Ph.D., is Director of Communications. He works with the Sorenson Impact Center’s internal and external reports, media partnerships, project research, student program, and storytelling. Prior to joining the Center, Max held positions as a lecturer and distance education coordinator in the University of Utah's Department of World Languages & Cultures, and as Director of Graduate Studies at the Center for Latin American Studies. His previous work as a producer, researcher, translator, and writer spans economic development and history, intermedia narrative, linguistics, and mass spectrometry. Max holds master’s and doctoral degrees from Harvard University.
